Default Bobbing my tf2 bed

I want to cut down the bed on my tf2/scx10, problem is I noticed the bed actually narrows towards the tail end... How do you get it to line up after cutting? I've searched for awhile for an answer an no clear step by step cutting instructions to be found

I bobed the bed on my TF2 1", This was my first time, the top of the bed stayed the same width, the bottem flexed enough to clamp, was'nt bad. I have some pic's on my build thread.
