Scale Aisin/Yota Style Hubs and Scale Rear Hubs V2

Hey guys,

Any ideas on how to remove both of these hubs when you don't have the tool?

Don't want butcher them up with pliers so was wondering if anyone would like to share what they use remove these hubs...

Any help would be appreciated... :)

Not a good idea to get the hubs with no tool but that's not the advice you're seeking.

I see 3 options my man:
1- Pliers and butcher them up (should not be an option)
2-Make a tool which may or may not work
3-Purchase the proper hub tool

Thanks mate, Not opposed to buying the tools, just stuck in a pickle as I have lost the tools for both hubs.

was thinking a zip tie around the hubs then pliers to get them of.... any thoughts?

For now, take a terry cloth rag and rap it up then use pliers over the rag. After that get online and order the proper tool.

I have used a strip of rubber from an old bicycle innertube with pliers when I lost the tool for my hubs. It works well as long as you have a little patience.

Maybe a balloon or a rubber kitchen glove could help be a barrier as well
