I've got a bunch of these letters so I'll use this set to play around until I get it right. They actually stick pretty well after being removed. Here is a pic of them now but keep in mind they are just lightly applied and not lined up yet. Once I get the look I want I'll use some fine line tape to lay them out properly. What do you think? I think the spacing looks good and if I come just a little further back towards the firewall or basically center it up it would like right.

NEW

OLD

I also have the lettering to do it in "Renegade" like these.

That's a fine looking Jerp, sir. Spacing doesn't seem quite right, and I'd stick with Wrangler.

The body is a Tamiya Jeep YJ and some of the interior parts are from Pepe at RC-Crawler-it in Italy.

Good stuff, sir. Looks like the lettering should be centered between the latch and the back edge of the hood (or bonnet, as the Brits would say). Something like these:

Thanks for the pics! I was surprised at how hard it is to find good pics of YJ's with Wrangler decals. I've got a bunch of those letters so I think I'll try to lay it out again. The hardest part is getting the spacing right. I've got a couple of new things I've added to the Jeep so I'll post some pics later today.

Default TF2 SWB YJ project

Not sure if this will work, but I think it would be worth a shot. Try lining up the lettering on the sticky side of a post-it, with the non-adhesive side of the letters facing the post-it. You could mark your beginning and end (i.e., total width for the word) on the post-it (just below the adhesive, for example) and then line the letters up with the right spacing in between. Then, when you have the alignment right, you can use the post-it to transfer all of the letters at once by pressing the whole thing against the hood and slowly peeling back the post-it. They should transfer pretty easily assuming the adhesive on the letters is stronger than the adhesive on the post-it (which it should be). Make sense?

Very nice looking jeep. Makes me want to build one up!

I like the 1.55 Stomper setup the best.

Here are the few additions I've done. I picked up a set of the 1.55 Gearhead BL's and Growlers. I also added some rc4wd sliders and some scale hardware to the axles. The M1.5 x 4mm bolts fit perfectly one my K44's and D44's. Check out the pics...

Here are the D44's on my scx

I looked a few times and may have missed it still. Any Info on that front bumper? Starting my build this weekend.

That is a Tamiya Land Cruiser fj40 bumper it doesn't bolt on to the rc4wd swb chassis though. I had to trim it and drill holes to match the swb chassis.

Ok thanks for the response. Your yj looks awesome. I'm really digging the look with the 1.55 stompers and will probably have to build mine to look like it.
