I swapped up to the steel shafts the plastic ones worked but i superglued the rings on the ends to keep them in place but the steel ones are worry free just lube the cross shafts to prevent rust and seizing.

No problem there are a couple versions of the steel punishers that fit the tf2 the v3 shafts look awesome but in my experience the u joint pins wore badly ending with snapping a pin and dropping the shaft.

Yes im running those now and haven't had any issues with them just the v3's were a huge dissapointment to me because they have a better scale look. Lol the v3 shaft does make a nice scale accessory in the truck box though

looks like different lengths front and rear 104mm-150mm and 89mm-120mm. Can I still run the steel (100-130mm) 5mm front and rear? Last edited by desertdude; 08-22-2015 at 09:08 PM. |

Congrats your going to love it definately check your t case axles and trans for grease mine was pretty dry and as for the leaf springs you'd be surprised with the right set up just how capable it can be with some thought out driving and tire positioning my kids each have an scx10 the wife has a cc01 and my tf2 on leafs rarely has issues following on the trail even with the leafs |

i glued some heat shrink around my plastic shafts and they lasted a couple weeks, ended up just going with the junfacs for reliability.
