Very nice, great looking (love the old TRD stripes) TF2 that works! Must not build one....lol Did you use a drillpress or free-hand the axle housing ends for the Axial SCX steering knuckle mod? Last edited by Natedog; 10-13-2015 at 06:04 PM. |

| Re: Szczerba's Flatbed TF2 Drill bits, dremel, files and patience. And E6000 glue cause I fudged one side up and a few chub screws only have 1-2 thread engagement. No issues at two comps and a 20 min trail run.

That reminds me.. I have a striped set screw.. I need to get the E6000 out, as well! Patience! Lol.. Lots of time too.. It's not something your going to want to do in a rush.. LOTS of test fitting! Measure 100 times.. Cut long, anyways. Dremel/file, test fit. Dremel, test fit. Etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc... |

Yup, the E6000, holds and then just peels right off later. I gooped it on there and just cleaned out the bear hole with a flat head. Took me about 2 days working on it off and on. I got my old F-Toy back and will be doing the mod again to that front yota axle. Here are the parts for the next housing mod. All SCX V1 VVD parts except for the V1 wraith axle shafts.

I think I had 3 days into.. Seeing how it took me 2 yrs to build and finally get on the rocks, 3 days isn't all that bad! Lol.. |

| Re: Szczerba's Flatbed TF2 The steering setup on a TF2 is crazy good. I literally drove the truck 0.5mph and it would dig and turn up hill while climbing all over the rocks like nothing. Thanks for the inspiration to setup mine.

| Re: Szczerba's Flatbed TF2 Love the truck! Mad fab skills! I think your steering is at least 9deg or warmer but I might be bias or it could be the bias ply tires either way #sherbertbuilt is one sweeeet turk. Thanks for sharing |

A few pictures from today. Went down to run a few courses with the East Texas club. Truck still runs awesome. A little slick today with the light rain. |

Picture of the Helios printed skid that has been well used. I painted it orange and notched for 3-link, as shown in previous posts. |

I dig the tube work on your bed! Are your flat sections steel or styrene? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk |

Also, I still have the metal bed and roll bar. Posted it for sale twice and still have it. Didn't meet SORCCA Class 1 specs, I built a bed that did.
