Thank you sir. I ended up spinning an axle shaft in the front locker. Upon further inspection, I had cut one of the axle shafts too short and it was only engaging the locker by 0.034mm. Ordered up two more shafts and will make them touch end to end inside the locker.

That sucks to hear Shane!

I cut mine to touch end for end, but found some trimming was needed in the end.

With the mod, I more worry about the confidence I have in the mod and forget I should still worry about the next weakest link.. It's not an axial drive train! Tho it's been doing a Great job of holding up..

Yup, I totally messed up on gauging the links. I gooped the chubs with E6000 and it held the chubs on great. I have a few chubs screws with only a thread or two of engagement. lol The E6000 peeled right off. I'll goop it back on when I cut the new shafts. Ideally, I should have had a trained machinist measure and cut the housings and shafts.

Glad to know your setup is holding up.

Measure once cut 3 times is much more fun than measure 3 times and cut once. Or at least that's what I keep telling myself to justify my frequent do-overs.

My patience limit is just past measure/cut once.

Default Szczerba's Flatbed TF2

2 comp courses and two 1300mah lipos driving around and the Helios RC printed skid is holding strong. Modified to fit a front 3-link setup too.

On October 3, 2015 ETXRCC held a scale rock crawling competition at Barnwell Mountain ORV Park in Gilmer, Texas. Gavin filmed, edited, and produced this video of Szczerba driving his flatbed TF2 in between courses. This truck uses 4.25 Lil' Nova Dual Stage foams, Part# CWR-2011.

Very nice, footage and editing. That camera shoots crazy good and Gavin's scene setup and edits are great.

I will note that I did narrow up the inners and outer 4.25 DD foams to fit these tiny tires. Tires and foam setup is at least 4 years old yet they work better than ever with routine drying and cleaning.

Thank you sir. Shout out to the 13 year old Gavin for filming and editing.

Forgot to mention I am using the HeyOK high voltage winch controller.

Upgraded to the AL front bumper support as well.

NICE!

Was Josh driving 1.9, or did he stick to his usual 2.2?

It's pretty thick and for the weight reduction and price point, I will gladly replace as needed. I figure this one will last a while.
