It's the first kit build for me in twenty years so it was fun and I had help as the wife was working this weekend.

New2rocks has Roo and I have my bug lol

by the end of the day we had a roller

I finished up the electronics downstairs had to spin the steering servo but it went good. Ill work on the body this week after work. Bug already asked if we could start the scx 10-2

Nice start! Also looks like a nice list of upgrades and parts.

The steering servo can mount either way, most choose to mount it the other way.

Nice color choice! A little bit of rubbing on the front edge of the front fender is normal and not a problem. A lot of people end up trimming the grill and front edge of the fender the way serious off-readers do with 1:1s. I've chosen to leave my fenders intact and allow some rubbing.

Thank you my youngest picked it I have the black sr5 stripes to add today. Glad to know that it rubs some I may trim it just below the bumper and I'm going to do the body mount like you did.

Nice job with the stripes. As between Revolvers and Z-Boxes, Revolvers first would be better. Z-Boxes don't do as much without the Revolvers. Chino mod (notching the eyelets of the leafs) is free and helps also.

Installed some teraflex shackles last night looking at some threads here I think their on right. I didn't notice a huge gain in flex on the bench so I think z boxes will be in my future.

Looking good. I'd suggest trying the chino mod now to get the most out of the Revolvers before adding the Z-Boxes.

Thanks. I'm going to take this and the scx 10 ii for the girls and I to run camping this week. I'll give the chino mod a try when we get back. I had to remove the junfac drive shafts because they were to long so I found some axial driveshafts that hit perfect.

I've have a few more bits added I ordered up two sets of the z boxes and the new2rocks low profile skid and also made a set of wildbore hd driveshafts (junfac were to long)

I didn't get a picture of the z boxes but did get a picture of this

I had a set of honcho ripsaws and scx10-2 wheels so mounted them and they fit nice

and a little more than stock flex

I didn't like the size of the stock tires so I mounted the irok tires on the stock wagon wheels. I had seen someone on here use old servo horns to clamp the wheels and I'll say it did the trick. I also picked up the light kit for it but I blow out 3 sets of the rear reds I guess 3s was a little to much I'm going to try my hand at making my own lights and using a Killer rc light controller

We have a family camping trip next week to New Hampshire so I'm hoping to get some good wheel time with this and the SCX10-2
