Thanks man. Yeah, these bodies are a ton of work. I really didn't think i would be taking this build this far when i started it but now i'm in too deep! I'm sure i have somewhere around 25-30 hours in this so far. Body lines aren't perfectly straight and i don't expect it to be perfect so at some point i'm just going to paint the thing and call it good. |

Thanks, yeah the hinges i used for the hood are nice and thick, keeps it aligned well. I would recommend for sure. Its pretty scale for the yotas too. I managed to make progress and get the fender liners roughed in. That was not as fun as i was hoping it would be.. or even just not suck. Even after making a cardboard template i managed to ruin an attempt at each side. It came out pretty good in the end, just took a while. I wanted them high enough you could see the full shock hoop from the side, but i also wanted a cut out for the shock hoop so it looks a bit modified and kinda cool. The shock hoops kinda look like crap from the inside though. Would be nice to have a fully round hoop. Maybe i'll glue half a tube on it or something later. Bigger fish to fry for now! |

Thanks, i think its going to be decent. Im not planning on going crazy on the interior. One thing nice i had the whole back carpet so that will be easy to cover up. Door panels will be basic, not sure about the dash... pretty much scares me! I'll figure something out. |

Thanks, hopefully they'll do some justice to the goodies I got coming! I may use a little body filler to smooth them out too. I got started on the back panels and wheel wells too but progress was minimal between watching the playoffs and hanging out with my kiddos. |

Thank you, but it's got a long way to go! Honestly the SCX10 ii is absolutely bada$$ as a crawler. I'm going to pick one up soon for my next fun rig. The trail finder 2 is great if you just want to have something to dink around with scale style. Just depends on what you want, I like both!

Damn that little 22r looks good in there! Just fits too, had to dremel out the hood to clear the oil cap. The whole setup looks so much better! Cost a little bit to do it but again, damn it looks good! Can't wait to see it all painted up. The fitment with the transmission will make do the interior much easier and look so much better. Dont have to worry about the shift servo and the whole thing looks much better from the outside too. Still have to make a rear transfercase mount but it shouldn't be too bad. I'm having to make a custom servo mount to make the servo fit with the shortened front end but it looks like its going to fit fine. |
