Flipped transfer case So I made a skid and flipped the transfer case. Turned out great, exactly the result I was looking for. Front wheels spinning faster than the rear. But I got to thinking about it and now my OCD won't let it go. I've always heard of it as the overdrive mod but technically speaking all it does is underdrive the rear to get the desired result. Right? After the flip the front axle is still turning the same speed as before (1.47:1) whereas the rear axle is now connected to the ouput shaft from the trans and spinning 1:1. Is this the correct logic or am I missing something. |
Flipped transfer case Think I understand now. Since the power is now going backwards through the tcase it's no longer reduced Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
