Default Standard vs LWB

I am thinking of selling my standard TF2 for the LWB version. A few questions before I pull the trigger.

1) Is it a bad idea? Am I better off keeping my standard tf2?

2)Apart from being able to use different hard bodies on the LWB, Is there a performance advantage switching to LWB?

3) Parts upgrades support? (both performance and cosmetic like interior etc etc.)

For those who experience with both, which ones do you like better?

Default Re: Standard vs LWB

They are very (very) similar. From a performance perspective, the biggest differences are that the LWB has a slightly wider turning radius and is more likely to high center due to the long WB. But those are issues with the stock TF2, as well, and they are just as easily addressed on the LWB as on the standard WB (get a high clearance skid like our BowHouse skid; upgrade the front axles to XVDs or pick up a set of our NCYotas for even more steering). Here's some footage of my LWB in action:

My standard WB TF2s could handle all of the same terrain. So it really comes down to preference. If you like the look of the LWB, or you've fallen for the LC70 body, go for it. If you like your standard WB or prefer a body like the Blazer, keep what you have and enjoy it.
