Default Tf2 suspension question

I received a blazer body in the mail today and this will be my second blazer. It's obvious that being top heavy is one of the biggest obstacles. Curiously trying something I mounted the springs (under)the axle instead of the spring being on top to try and gain a lower COG. It's going to be a while before I get this thing rolling I was just curious if anyone has done this before and possibly have any info / advice on running the springs under the axle or if there's any benefit to it whatsoever.

Thanks,

I know it's been done before, but I don't recall off the top of my head who's done it. The simplest way to do it would be to use u-bolts to attach the leafs to the axles. You'll probably need to move a couple of things around between the chassis rails to get everything to clear, but it's certainly doable.

Yep, I've been playing around with this on my build (link in the post above). If you have any specific questions, feel free to ask.
