i'm trying to look at some reference photos, but cant figure out how the darn steering links up on the 1:1?

truck is REALLY looking fantastic!
and yes black hubs gets my vote also.

Just in case I choose the polished hubs, I actually polished two of them and they look great. Used stainless steel hardware and made the hubs out of sheet aluminum.

They used two hydraulic pistons to steer that they mount on the front of the axle. One pushes one way and the other the other way, etc. I literally cannot do it on the 1/10 scale unless I hand make the hydraulic pistons and hydraulic system itself. Maybe one day, but high torque titanium servos do the job decently well.

Just a small update, waiting on some parts, but decided to start with the flags. Going to do 2 Ford flags on the back and also make it where I can do the single flag like pictures, but the American flag. I like the black hubs, but they will be chrome when the new parts come in.

That's a tough one. I'm partial to the JConcepts wheels and tires, but I'll have to checkout some photos of the 1:1 Bigfoot 1 first.

Clod tires always seemed too square to me. I think it would be best to put the Clods, JConcepts, and real photo next to each other.

Those are probably your two best options - JConcepts and Clod tires.

The old Kyosho tires weren't bad either, but they never re-released them as far as I know.

The jconcept wheels are not as accurate though. They look great, but not as accurate. I don’t know which ones. May just run the RH ones for #4, and run the jconcepts on my future Bigfoot #6.
