New Marlin coming anything to MOD before trailing

I found a Marlin and is on its way to me. I'm reading up on tips and tricks as well. Any mods to do to it before going out trailing? I am swapping the stock esc out for a quicrun 1080 wp crawler esc. Any other suggestions appreciated. Thanks!

Cool video, I'm still waiting on the Marlins to be in stock. Where did come across one?

I have been crawling with A SCX10 and a Sawback for the past few years and the Marlin Crawler has my eye. Don't really need a RTR but like the looks and features. Am I better off making the mods myself on a kit or is this a good deal as packaged. Reviewers seem to be impressed.

I’ve had one for a while now and I think they are a really good deal. Yoda II axles (improved over the Yoda axles) steel front bumper, bobbed bed, low profile skid, and a couple other things. DO IT!

I was actually considering getting a second one (if I survive the holidays) and making it a 1.55 rig

I swapped out all the electronics on mine, removed the inner springs in the shocks, and removed all but the large leaf spring before I ran mine. After I got the large leaf broken in, I put the small leaf back on too.

I'm using mine as a C1 rig. I went from 5th place (ran one comp with a 10.2 that had very few scale points) to 1st and have a pretty large lead. This truck is doing awesome. I didn't care for my other two TF2s, but I really like this one.

I think I'm going to grab another one and put a K5 body on it.
