Which battery are you guys running in your TF2's?
 

I just made the mistake of ordering this battery, doesn't fit :( way too big.

Hey Teng, yeah they'll take them back luckily but I had to pay for shipping. I need to check the size of these batteries more carefully before I order them apparently.

Anyone know if the newer Traxxas 5800 2S lipo batteries (the one with Traxxas's "ID" plug) will fit the in the TF2? At the moment all my batteries are these Traxxas 2S lipos and would like to keep it that way.

JoeR6 that’s a huge battery, Id run something smaller and lighter. It’s easier to fit physically and less weight up high, truck will crawl much better.

I’m going to use Protek 3600mah 3s lihv with battery tray flipped so battery forward. Don’t think it will fit rear positions under the bed due to thickness. :)

Edit, truck balances better with battery tray towards the rear, now my Protek batteries are too thick Looking for good 3S lipo to fit. :ror:

I also had a hard time finding a battery that would fit. I have venom 4000 3s batteries that have treated me good. One of the lhs guys hooked me up with them. Got with no problems.

i had a dynamite 5000mah 2s hardcase in mine with a full interior tight fit but doable when i switched to the blazer body a 2s 4000mah dynamite shorty pack was biggest i could fit without interference keep in mind this was a single speed trans rtr

I have the rtr lwb and want to add the interror and run a 3s 2200. Dose anyone know if it will fit

I run this 2S 4200mAh stick pack battery in mine.

The dimensions on that turnigy battery (138x47x23mm) isn't too far off from the Traxxas 5800 2cell lipo (135x45x25mm)

I'm sure mine is much cheaper than the Traxxas battery and has a higher C-rating to boot.

I'm only using the RC4WD stock dash and the optional RC4WD seat with driver and this battery works no problem. I don't have the full right-hand-drive interior from the LWB in mine.

OK. Yeah. I bought the rc4wd interror it hasn't arrived yet but I set the rig up for 3s like all my other stuff. Hopefully It works
