Ring and pinion/axle shims
 
Trashed my front ring and pinion this weekend. Of course the parts I need are out of stock ( as usual) I rounded up a helical gearset from a buddy. Are there any substitute shims?

I used Traxxas #1985 fiber shims

Losi also has a good set of them. Having a hard time finding a part number for you at the moment. If I remember when I get home I'll post it. Like rm25x said traxxas has the fiber ones.

Check the diameter and there'll be a bajillion shims on offer from various manufacturers. They're like screws, don't have to be the truck's brand.

These guys have most every metric and standard shim in steel, great to order from too! :)

absolutely agree. Just frustrating that rc4wd continually has things out of stock, all the time it seems.
