Yota axle question

Trying to install the XVD set in the nice new Yota axle on my current TF2 build. Do I need to completely disassemble the axle (split the housing) to remove the original axles?

Answered my own question..."yes". Although I note that the new XVD axles do not have the e-clips on the inboard end and can be inserted and removed w/o axle disassembly for future maintenance.
