Default Tf2 lwb

I got a new rtr tf2 lwb rtr. I'm not new to crawlers but I am new to the rc4wd crawler s. I want to change out the skid and get better clearance. I have seen multiple versions my question is which is best and can they all be used with the long wheel base?

I'm asking about the skid for the transmission case. Yes scalerfab makes very nice stuff I'm friends with Troy and Casey.

If your looking for a lower profile skid check out the bowhouse rc skid plate. I’ve seen it on Amain, shapeways and there website

Talking Re: Tf2 lwb

the bowhouse rc skid for the lwb requires the coupling bracket......i know it can be ran without it but i already spent money on metal punisher shafts only realize that the rear is too short if im going to run it without the coupling bracket...

The main reason is that my tf2 is linked and the coupling bracket requires the mounting spot as extra support..

I think so.....whats your overall thoughts on the tf2 lwb?

To me it defines scale....it surely doesn't perform as good. The transmission and motor in the middle of the chassis like scx10ii, ascender is not realistic to me...they surely perform better but scale is the name of the game for me....

Ur not interested in 2 speeds because the kits come with one.....SLOW AS HELL anD FAST AS HELL?

I'm also considering on getting the Hpi venture and Traxxas Trx4 or even the Hobao DC1

Honestly I have not got it out of the box yet. I've got a few things to finish on my comp rig. But I've been building a list of part to buy for the tf2 lwb

I added the a&m garage skid and shackles set to my tf2 along with the golanda 2 shock towers. Helped alot with flex and general performance. The bowhouse rear shakle parts made the most difference. Will add a few pictures later.

I used 400 x 600 on the pictures if that's the wrong ratio let me know. It's been a while since I have posted.
