| Scale shocks for tf2
I’ve got gelande hoops on my tf2, and have used scx10 shocks without springs. I’m using red leafs with full lenght stock leaf. Now I’m looking for the best performance scale looking shocks for my setup. Any recommandations? |

Most all scale looking shocks are the same with very very soft springs inside them. Since you have leafs, Id suggest you stick with stock height sizing and simply get a cheap set off amazon or ebay. Those 25 dollar set of 4 are really NO worse or better than the RCW4D shocks we pay much more for 2. In fact my RC4WD ones broke before my amazon ones did. I suggest 80-90mm all around. This is what I got when I had my leafs on. https://www.amazon.com/4-Pack-Absorb...%2Bdamper&th=1

I have RC4WD ones, amazon ones, ebay ones, 80mm/82mm/90mm 102mm. Ive tried them all. And Ive tried every spring I could find at hardware stores that fit inside the shocks. Ive found that I have to upgrade the springs since Im LINKED. Since you have leafs, you really dont even need the springs in it. They really are there to slow the leafs down. So I thought. Get an amazon set and then get some RC4WD shock boots and youve got yourself a cool looking scale shock with a cool cheap dust cover to make them look even nicer.
