Default My tf2 swb

So I've been hooked on this little tf2 swb. I've wanted a leaf spring truck and picked this up last summer of ebay. Nice to have a completely different rig from my trx4.

It has tekin brushed fxr and crawler motor combo which was a great start. It came with a rear 4 link which I switched to leaf to have it as a full leaf rig. I can't take credit for the body but whoever did it did an awesome job.

I greased the trans and axles and also diffs loctite on the screws.

Here are some pics on how I got it and where it is now

Testing the electronics

The old rear 4 link

In my back yard

Fitting the marlin bumpers

Back to the original bumper

New z boxes and revolver shackles

Here I used the front ssd bumper fron my defender

Before and after 1.55 wagon wheels AMD after with ssd wheels

Thanks guys. Also I replaced the stock shocks with proline 90mm scaler shocks.

Thinking of getting 80mm shocks. I got the gelande front shock hoops but didn't realize the mounting holes between the swb and other tf2's don't line up.

Very sweet bronco, love it. You'll find the tf drives way different than a trx4. Dont care what others say, I have a blast driving my tf.

Great build! I like your design here.

Is that the tamiya champagne gold ps52? Looks killer. Clean work!

The body and chassis I bought as you see it in the first 4 pics. I did all the upgrades it has.

I can't take credit for the body but whoever painted it did an excellent job.
