Any of you guys use a Spektrum stick transmitter?
 

I've got limited hand function, so a wheel/trigger radio is a no go for me.

I wonder if anyone here has used a 2.4ghz stick radio in their rigs?

have not seen anyone using one in a crawler but a lot of racers in Europe use them quite well. the best Rc racer of all time used one and could even drive with his feet. I would say no problem

I use a spektrum DX6. It works perfect and with the mixing functions it is very easy to use the sticks for all extra functions. Mine have blinkers, winch and can turn light on and off. I currently am using 5 of the 6 channels.

Tempted to..have a dx8gen2 for my aircraft..so many features.

Thanks guys. I ended up buying an FRSKY module and rx for my old Futaba FF3. It's a 3 channel with some nic4e functions.

The net rig will use my Spektrum Dx6i

Absolutely, not currently but I've done it with trucks in the past. You can actually get more precise control with sticks over a trigger/wheel radio IMO. If I still had my helis I'd be using my old DX6 for the crawler as well.
