I modified my RC4WD trail finder 2 suspensions, now I get a nice flex.
Harder in front, so it doesn’t dive in holes but float above and super smooth in the back to move freely. Works as planned!

For some reason you had this posted in both the 1.55 and TF2 sections. A thread should only be in one section so I merged them. I'm in the process of deleting the duplicate posts that are a result of the merge.

It's been a while the tf2 hasn't been playing in the dirt!

I didn't like them too much, grip is not great. I much prefer the mud trashers. And I like the look on the tf2.

I did some tire test for the TF2 to get more ground clearance than with the mud trashers with 1.55’’ Stamped Steel Beadlock Wheels.

Started with pit bull 1.55 growler + 1.55’’ Stamped Steel Beadlock Wheels. It looks pretty cool but it rubbed a lot on the leaf springs, so to avoid this I had to minimize wheel steering angle which is not fun on the trails.

So I installed rc4wd trail buster 1.9 + 1.9 Stamped Steel Beadlocks, much narrower so turning radius is much improved, perfect combo with the Over/Under Drive Transfer Case to turn on a dime.

Both wheels are the same height so ground clearance is the same.

Thanks B-MOW71!!!
We've been working for a long time on this trail, still a LOT to do.
Our theme is King Kong, so we're working on bridges, gates, jungle look, etc...Stuff like that.
What's super cool is because we've been working and testing for so long, natural path has been created by the tires, pretty rad!
Stay tuned...

Most excellent photographs. So the rear suspension really flexes that well with leaves and a traction bar? Did you flip the tcase around for od, or is there a less aggressive aftermarket option, ratio wise that is?

Thanks!
Photographing tiny trucks is definitely part of the fun for me

I added 90mm shocks with gelande II hoops in front, in the rear RC4WD Teraflex Revolver (kept the original shackles) for more articulation and it's awesome. Front has less flex, but that's the way I wanted, flips over a lot less.
No traction bar or any other mods other than grinding leaf springs a bit. Simple but efficient!

Driving with leaf springs is tons of fun, definitely not like links, but I really like this.

yes, but not for long...as I'm looking for a specific look, and the trail busters were too "aggressive" for this truck, so I tried something else...
Pictures very soon.
