Tf2 regular wheelbase shortened into swb ?

I'm sure it's been done before but does anyone have actual experience with doing this ? Seems like you find regular tf2 's cheaper then the swb and I'd like to run the tamiya jeep body has anyone done this and does the chassis have correct suspension geometry ?

If you're not concerned about having leaf springs using a MST-CFX chassis is a much cheaper and better performing platform, it's four linked and there is a $20 body mounting kit on ebay that makes it really easy to mount the Tamiya YJ and it's a much better performer. I was gonna go the swb TF2 route til I found this setup.

Yea I've noticed those and even considered the mst jimny but I want to try something swb leaf sprung. Seems more technical to drive.

What steered me away from those is from what I’ve heard driveline angles are pretty bad and it just doesn’t perform very well, looks scale as hell though lol, I love my Marlin TF2s though. I’m still working on my MST YJ but so far from what I’m seeing it’s gonna perform very well.

Definitely seems like an issue and parts availability isn't there for the mst stuff.
