Default I want to tuck the tires in. TF2 mojave body.

So like the title says. I am in need of suggestions on how to tuck my wheels and tires in. I am going for a stock hilux look. I am open to anything like changing the axles, changing wheels, etc.

I don’t want to cut stuff up though so please keep the suggestions to parts that can be obtained in the market.

Thanks!

Looking great!!!

I believe the tf2 axles are about the shortest (least wide) ones out there. Think the only you need is a tire with less offset. I’ll see if I have any pics....

Might have to take specific pics ... these are just what I had at hand.

You try my channel to see it in action..., I’ve only taken video of yellow truck running 2 sets of tires

It looks to me as if you're already running Boom Racing Narrow 21mm Badass Classic 16-Hole Steelies with the Mud Terrain Trophy BR-T29A tires, and if so that's about the narrowest combo available.

Not sure how you'd get even narrower using different wheels (or tires)...

A search for off-brand axles or physically narrowing an existing set would likely be your best bet.

I feel like you should have an option with either your wheel hex or hubs, but I just thought I'd throw a 10lb hammer at the issue: https://www.asiatees.com/display?Mis...=All&id=151552

Thank you! This looks like a very solid option.

I have thought about these axles but haven’t pulled the trigger because I haven’t seen anyone do it with the TF2.

I have another set of boom racing d90 axles, haven’t used them but the case isn’t very tightly fit.., maybe for dry uses only....

But those narrow ones, sure are narrow., probably your best bet.

Most of my small tires fit about the same, but tuck in once compressed.

I want them tucked in before compression.

Also MST MPA Axles are super narrow, and around $100/set. They do have somewhat large pumpkins though.

what about BOW HOUSE?
they are 3d printed axle housings that use ascender guts and the axle shafts can be narrowed easily.
