Re: Blazer to Hilux The bars of aliexpress have arrived, I had others in their day in another hilux and they were much thinner, also the height, for my taste a bit tall, but this way they will protect more clearly. In the photos on aliexpress it comes with a Comanche body, but for that they would be small and do not fit well, although in the hilux, the rear supports, I had to fold them inwards so that they do not support the wheel arches, since the 4 support points are at the same height. For the rest they fit, they are 12 @ with shipping and include 6 LEDs and the 6 corresponding bulbs, I have not proven even if they are all white or if they are some red, I will tell you, for now some superimposed photos: https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...5c9eb266_c.jpgUntitled by alberto espinosa, on Flickr https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...8aa07d20_c.jpgUntitled by alberto espinosa, on Flickr And taking advantage of the shipment I asked for some Chanquish, we will see in which car they go hehehe: https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...d40fafaf_c.jpgUntitled by alberto espinosa, on Flickr |
Re: Blazer to Hilux At the moment, I am still waiting for the front bumper and the missing paint, but I continue with adjustments and with the rest that I can advance: https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...54c1c70c_c.jpgUntitled by alberto espinosa, on Flickr https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...2dc40727_c.jpgUntitled by alberto espinosa, on Flickr https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...eee3bd71_c.jpgUntitled by alberto espinosa, on Flickr |
Re: Blazer to Hilux The A&M Garage bumper has arrived, a primer coat and a matte black one and in place with the included leaf spring support. Now missing paint finishes in addition to another color and the interior. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...bcf5cbef_c.jpgUntitled by alberto espinosa, on Flickr https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...2dc6641f_c.jpgUntitled by alberto espinosa, on Flickr https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...924ed609_c.jpgUntitled by alberto espinosa, on Flickr https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...1f9f7847_c.jpgUntitled by alberto espinosa, on Flickr https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...a4f5f69a_c.jpgUntitled by alberto espinosa, on Flickr https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...f1ba115a_c.jpgUntitled by alberto espinosa, on Flickr |
Re: Blazer to Hilux Looking good FREEDOM!"thumbsup" The A&M Garage front bumper is a nice addition and will work very well. I see a rod end with link that is mounted to the front bumper. What do you have going on with that? Anti-wrap bar? Can I see a better pic of it? |
Re: Blazer to Hilux Quote:
Yes , im trying various sistems of anti-wrap bar ... maybe one works good jejejeje , but i like to test on rocks , not in house with books or boxes "thumbsup" There photos of front and rear , front i try to the front because V8 is too big with exhaust and other stuff and goes for the middle ,a reason for i trying to recolocate the transfer rear: https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...a61a7e69_c.jpgUntitled by alberto espinosa, on Flickr and fornt https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...c87450a8_c.jpgUntitled by alberto espinosa, on Flickr https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...002cd3b1_c.jpgUntitled by alberto espinosa, on Flickr |
Re: Blazer to Hilux Nice! Thanks for the pics!"thumbsup" I'm currently using the A&M Garage Anit-wrap bar in the rear on my Marlin. I never really gave it a thought about the front axle. I'll have to take another look at my front axle!:) |
Re: Blazer to Hilux Quote:
Some time ago I put leaf springs on a rcmodelex chassis and had to do an anti-wrap bar at the back, it was more efficient with supporting the chassis with rocker, but I tell you, I'm in tests hehehehe is old , but better sistem: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=63ddJYpy--E |
