So I received my dinkyrc low profile transfer case skid plate / mount. Over all pretty nice piece and looks to be solid. I spoke with Matt over there super cool dude. I also had my junfac driveshafts so I installed the mount and rear shaft then took off with the wife and dog for a walk on some trails. Tomorrow I’ll install the front shaft. One thing to make note of is when using this mount on the 4door lwb the rear center support bearing carrier is removed. The junfac shafts for the lwb is the perfect length. The only thing you will need to do is take a slight bit of material off of the pinion ends and the output shaft of the transfer case to get the holes to line up. The cups are just a Tad to shallow. Once that is done you can use the stock threw bolts instead of the supplied two grub screws for each side . I suppose if you wanted to you can order a low profile carrier bearing support but not need to with the these shafts. Over all the install went smooth less than an hour and a big difference on how much the transfer case hangs down. Name: 43D02BCE-8AF1-474D-BB25-4CC8CE225ECA.jpg

Skid plate looks great! That should help out a ton!

I did notice in your last video the skid plate got hung up a few times.

Looks like yours has the offset rear mount. That is what I'm getting.

yeah it did get caught a lot. kind of frustrating but I have to remember this isn't my Trailwalker. I'm curious to see how it does with this skid.

Looks like you gained a lot of clearance!

Never noticed it n TF2s but does the power switch and wiring ever get in danger of being scraped up?

I like the km3. I tried the km3's of my enduro on my tf2 and it's crazy at how significantly better they are than the stockers. I wish they made them 4'' or smaller.

Is that the new set that you just picked up yesterday? I might want to pick up another set for a different rig too. I wish they made more size variations as well. RC4WD has a ton of variations I just don't have luck with their compound.

Yes. I told you I have a tire Problem. lol I put them on to see how it looked. I like it. I ordered up another set of wheels so I can mount the class 0 crawlers. I'm tired of mounting and dismounting. The stock rc4wd mud thrashers in the x3 compound didn't seem to do that bad at CDM. They are just really small with hardly any clearance. At lease with the 4.19 they are still small with better clearance and way better traction.

Has any one of you noticed the rear axle not lined up straight almost as if the leaf springs are drilled wrong?

The right side of my body seems a little offset to the rear but the driveline looks straight. I haven't measured the wheel opening to see if it a mold issue.

It’s hard to tell in the picture but the rear axle is off. It’s not casing any issues other than I can tell and it drive me mad lol. I’ll have to measure to see how much of a difference it is. I also ordered a full interior today 😂🙄😜

I hear you. Sometimes things like that drive you nutty. Especially an expensive rc4wd product. I've been eyeing the interior. I've been watching some videos on them.

Have you had experience with the1.55 mt/r Goodyear's? I am thinking if getting them or the 1.55 km2 or also the pitbull berserker. I figure since you have a tire problem you may know lol. I want to keep it under 4" on the tires.

Looks great with the 1.55s, would be nice if Proline made KM3s in this size. Stock Mud Thrashers look good but super hard compound, swapped mine out for Pitbull Braven Berserkers which work very well so far wtih the foams they came with mounted on RC4WD white spoke steel wheels.

😂😂😂 I haven’t tried the Goodyear’s but the berserkers are in my cart Lmao. I like the pitbull growlers they seem to work good on this rig not so much on my element but I don’t really like the way the sidewall is so tall that way I was thinking the berserkers. The generals are 3.85 I believe and look really good.
