|  How to shorten the bed?
I was wondering how , if anyone, has shortend the bed on the tf2. Its the regular wheelbase. I really like the shorter bed look. what kinda glue or supplies do i need to make clean straight cuts

You'll want a styrene/ABS solvent like Bondene https://www.rpphobby.com/product_p/pls00003s.htm Its not a glue it will actually melt the plastic and fuse the pieces together. You can also use this solvent to melt some body scarps and make bondo (filler) essentially, you can use this to clean up the joint. I've used thin fine toothed handsaws (Japanese hand saw), though I did make a jig to keep my cut true. A lot of people mark off their cuts with tape on each side of the cut and cut it free hand. Doing the work yourself will allow you to cut as much or as little off as you want. |
