Take Two TF2

5 Attachment(s)
Dubbed this build "Take Two TF2" as I burnt myself out working on RC projects several years ago and convinced myself I was done, sold everything. Including a truck similar to this one that I didn't finish. Well I can say with complete honesty that was a mistake. In hind sight should have just shelved everything and took a break. Several months ago started back into building with this RC4WD Marlin addition TF2 and it has reminded me how much fun this hobby is.
On to some details, pretty standard build really.
-A&M Garage Shackle Reversal Kit, customized to work with front bumper.
-Bowhouse RC Low Profile Center Skid and CNC Rear Leaf Shackle Mount
-Incision Driveshafts for SCX10, custom cut for this truck
-ScalerFab rear bumper and rock sliders
-Tekin FX-R
-Holmes Hobbies 35t Torque Master Expert
-RC4WD front bumper, don't remember part # however was impressed with its approach angle
-RC4WD interior
Am sure there will be more to come as to parts will update as they are added.

For this build wanted to try my hand at weathering, had never done it previously. Started with the interior and then worked my way around the body. Was very challenging to not go to far with the dent's as well as the weathering. I would consider the weathering subtle so far, will add to it as trail rash occurs. Well enough with my rambling on to some pics., hope you enjoy them.

The duct tape seat and the caved in tailgate are my favorite

Cool, thanks! The tailgate was hard to do without warming up the bed floor too much. Had to direct the heat with a scarp piece of steel.

Thanks"thumbsup" The interior was a lot of fun, the weathering was easier than I thought. Will get some updated pictures up hopefully soon, have been working on inner-fenders, core support and a bed box for the battery so the body doesn't need to be removed as much.

Same here. Bought mine used with dents and the weathering came out better than anticipated.
