Default Water proofing...

Smokie the waterproof esc that wasn't Soo waterproof! Lol....
So In general what is everyone doing to protect their electronics? I wasn't even playing in the water, I just happen to roll over in a puddle and it was enough to smoke the esc.

You can use conformal coating. I got a bottle and started doing all my Flysky receivers with it. Haven't done any esc's with it as like you, I "thought" they were waterproof already as that's what the manufacturer says.

So I got a bottle of coating and did my flysky receiver, then went and did my esc... The esc really didn't work out well since it got on the cable pins and power button... I did the full dip method. I've been cleaning the pins and button but just causes a headache... Maybe I'll just get a decent waterproof receiver lol...
