![]() This is still early stage of the design process, our goal is produce the ultimate scale looking and functional axle. We will also make all the add on parts to go with this axle. We hope to start shipping this axle, along with with a chassis late next month. Another great news, we are working on a transfer case as well. Last edited by rc4wd; 02-29-2008 at 02:10 AM.

My 2 cents of rant... Dunno about Ultimate scale... does look functional though. Those integrated mounting points look very useful, although maybe work on those ones that hang down - they look like great snag points. Im wondering what these offer that your other axles dont - it seems to me that you are going for a strong and easy to mountup axle, perhaps you should focus on giving it high versatility, ground clearance and simple shape. personally, if you were going for ultimate scale I would suggest leaving the axle tubes completely bare, maybe with a couple of little lugs, and making the pumpkin as small as possible, with a realistic design, maybe through smaller & harder gears inside the pumpkin, and a very space efficient design. You already have the danas, but I have yet to see a rear axle in 12mm hex bruiser style (correct me if Im wrong) I would LOVE to see some scale steering knuckles, something like tamiya did with their bruiser axles - round as opposed to a standard C shape. -If these are refined and optimised for effective link & shock mounting I would consider them good performance axles, -If you made some with round knuckles and and a small pumkin; that I would consider the ultimate scale axle. Keep up the good work For what its worth.. I may try design a replica toyota axle, if it works out you will hear from me. Last edited by Fracture; 02-29-2008 at 02:48 AM.

Nice work. You might want to move the shock mounts a bit higher on the tube. Even small diameter scale shocks might contact the housing. Unless, you plan to make scale shock relocators...

swing the shock/link mounts (that are hanging down) up to where there 90* to the axle, sticking straight sideways, so they dont snag. i think they look damn good. what are the vertical mounts on either side of teh pumpkin? upper link mounts? if so move those in 1/2" each.

Im not sure if they are working on a shiftable one, but I gave them plans for a compact case with slight reduction that could bolt in where a r2 would.
