Yes, they are much narrower than TLT's ... same width as my robbe type axles under my cherokees.
With HPI stock car rims you will get a nice scale overall width of app. 185 mm from outside tire to outside tire.

since you guys are doing a great job on scale axles, any chance on making a scale engine where a 540 motor and the plentery gear reduction would fit inside and then fit a scale transfer case that would mount to it. and also make the engine out of alluminum with tail pipes and maybe a fan for the radiator, and engine mounts just like the real 1-1 rigs?

I agree with that engine thing. maybe even have a little fan setup that takes air in through a faux air intake, cools the motor with that, then expells the used air through some holes in the block where exaust pipes would go. from stock have just like a little block that bolts to that area that has a single hole in the back (shouldn't be that hard to machine. one hole drilled on the end, 4 other holes drilled at set points onto the side that intersect the hole drilled down the center). I know these are a crawler axle, but with that width on the rear axle, imagine one of these sitting under, say, a HPI Camaro or '66 Mustang body, complete with leaf springs and wide offset HPI vintage rims and 31mm wide vintage tires. damn that would look cool. of course, it would also look cool under a Proline K5 with vintage stock car rims with faux beadlocks, being adorned with a set of the 1.9 Krazy Krawlers. towing abovementioned Camaro

I have the perfect frame for a build.

I was going to narrow a set of TLT axles but hey...this will likely kick ass!

These are perfect for the JK body I recently snagged.

rc4wd - Will you be accepting pre-orders for these? (...are you already?)

I assume they're compatible with the existing t-rex 4-link mounts?

I can't wait!
