Default Plastic T-Rex? Anyone?

We have been ask over and over again, when we will ever make some of our popular products in plastic.

Well, the answer is here. Even one of our biggest specialties is working with metal. We decide to get a plastic version of T-Rex done, our goal is get it out by end of next month.

Once its out, we expect to sell two (front & rear) complete set of T-Rex axle for around $100, thats with axle, spool gear, knuckles, drive shaft, wheel hex and bearings.

Our Rock Rider and Copperhead crawler kits price will drop by $200.

If this goes well, we will also be doing other stuff out of plastic.

Thats a great idea and I'm sure you will find that price range will fit many budgets that might be tightening do to the economic slow down. I think it's a smart move and is sensitive to the high cost of this hobby in general, by offering a great product at a better price point.

The problem is demand, our company dont move stuff nearly as fast and large amount compare to Traxxas or Tamiya or Axial. We are far off..

But we will take some risk and put in some money for T-Rex axle first (making the injection mold), hopefully sales pickup when its more affordable.

crazy_crawler, yes. We will stop selling the alum version as soon as plastic version is available, but we will have all the upgrade parts for sale, such as knuckles, housing, chrome diff cover.

I would love to have a set of T-rex axles in plastic. I think you would sell alot more of them because 100.00 it's bad for a super sweet looking axle that's just my .02 cents.

I'll try a set of the mini T-rex's if or when you do them in plastic.
That should put you more in the game being your products would be open to a much bigger market.

I would be down for a couple sets. This is great news. Good luck on the investment.

One question. Has all the internals been made bulletproof on the T-Rex axles? If so, these will sell very well.

How is the width on these for the scale guys?

Again, Good luck!
