i thought hummer wheels had 8 inner, and 8-12 outer lugs?

I like the idea, but I definitely think there should be 8 inner lugs and 8 outer lugs, I think it would make it look 10x better.

they look ok, the nuts are too big, and theres supposed to be 8 lugs in the center. you missed the big idea i think.

the center studs diameter should be smaller as well.

RC4WD,

There doesn't appear to be a bead lock on this rim. Are these similar in design to your BL 1.7 faux bead locks? Also does the outer bolt circle of lugs when removed release a ring? Are they made out of aluminum? Last question; If they are made out of aluminum is it a brown anodize that you have used for the finish?

Thanks for your reply in advance. Depending on your answers, I would be interested in a dozen rims.

I'm going to have to agree. The idea is nice but it's lacking in the execution.Change the screw size and numbers and you could have a winner.

considering the emphasis obijuan and other members have placed on getting them right, even from early on, I think they have a right to be annoyed/disappointed/suggesting.

Im guessing there will be no more changes made at this point - and chances of a future wheel that is only slightly different are most likely quite low.

I probably would have gone with the correct bolt count and machined them as little nubs - all those big nuts seems a bit full on for my taste

and it looks like theyre not beadlocks either?

I like 'em, but I agree...I couldn't call them "hummer" wheels. They do resemble them quite a bit, but as said, the scale of the screws seem just a tad large, and there needs to be 8 lugs in the center. I like the 12 bolts around the outer ring...but if I saw the 8 in lieu of them, I may like them even more.

What size screws/nuts are you using in those pics? If they are 3mm, maybe they can be brought down to something like 2mm.
