| Okay...Rob passed these on to me. He didn't have time since he was getting ready for ECC. I opened the bag to find some really nice XVD's. They are very smooth and the machine work is great. I did find two things we need to fix before production. The pin that holds the XVD together is to short (not a big deal). The other thing is the ball on the end of the axle shaft is just a little too small. It has a little more movement that I think is acceptable. Again...another easy fix. Installation was a breeze. I didn't take any photo's as everyone has seen the inside of an axle. Everything fit together very well. Bearings, e-clips, and diff. The increase in steering is pretty big. These now turn really well. I can't wait to mount them tomorrow and give them a run. Just showing the XVD installed compared to stock. ![]() This shows the difference between the stock and XVD set. The XVD set is on the bottom. ![]() XVD is on the right. ![]() ![]() I will test them tomorrow. Should be able to get some video and some pictures. | Here is a little taste of the testing for these. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=okl9HyXVIcQ We are checking a few things. XVD pin length and a little movement in the XVD joint. Then we will test some more. We want to get these XVD's right before releasing them. So a lot more testing. ;) |
