Default Madforce suspension arms and new metal rodends

The CNC machined madforce suspension arms are shipping this weekend:

as you can see, the tube and arm part are welded together for additioanl strength, similar to how Mountain Bike frame are build. This is a very new manufacturing technology that we are trying out:

Madforce aluminum axle housing should be ready for preview late December and shipping in Jan. We are also working on the tranny gears for MadForce, ETA should be also in Jan.

We will be start shipping this new metal rodends next week, it will replace our current generation of metal rodends. The price will be the same, the ball is much harder to come out now:

We will also preview our next generation chassis/truck this week and many other exciting new products.

Kyosho Mayhem Motors are here too, but I wont start shipping them to all previous order until early next week.

Very cool to see someone doing something with the mad force..

My question is.. Is it cast..? I know you said CNC machined, so then what kind of finish is that..?

Cant wait to see the axle housings... are they going to be CNC machined...?

Thanks

Casey

I know the finish looks very similar to those cast alum. but it is not. if you bought one of our rockbull chassis before, you will see that the finish is similar, but it's also not cast.

And that one is still a prototype version, early next week we will update the final production version with better pics.

Looking foward to seeing the axles..

I would suggest that you do not remove the machined look.. Thats the greatest thing about a nice machied peice..

Also, If you make the 2 link set up solid mounted like that (instead of the stock plastic arms), how is it going to have any flex... or for that matter, any side to side movement.. I have these trucks, and the little bit of flex they get comes from these plastic arms twisting..

there was another rccrawler member talk with us about the flex issue, basically this product was made for show truck and for those who do a lots of heavy jumping.

the final finish can vary, we will update our website with new pictures as soon as it's available.

I've got a question. On the piece that attaches to the axle tube; is it just an optical illusion, or are there actually three pieces to that tube? I.E. two pieces of tube, and one piece w/the ears - all three fitted together somehow?

BTW, I don't really need the links, but I'm interested in looking at the housings when they become available.

Seems like it would still flex if you do a similar to stock rounded ball end at the chassis side(just like the stock link/arms) of the links.

WRMorrison, the tube and those ears are one piece, they are CNC machined.

The arm is another piece.

We are a little bit behind in making new parts due to the holiday, but we expect to launch a lots of new stuff again in Jan.

The axle housing will have a prototype done by mid Jan and pictures will be posted.

I was hoping to get the axle down to $99 a set (each truck need 2 set).
