Default RC4WD New Tire Compound X2 SS

We have been working for some time now on a new tire compound. It is called the X2 SS compound. SS for Super Sticky and Super Soft.

We have had several people already comment on how nice the new compound feels and a few will post up about it soon.

We have two tires in the new compound. These are both Class 1 tires. Both are Mickey Thompson licensed tires.

Baja MTZ 4.19" tall

Baja Claw TTC 4.18" Tall

There will be more tires released in this new compound.

Nice good to see something I can run when my tomahawks wear out on my class 1 (I think I'll end up with the MTZ's)

Just like scale4x4- will the mil specs get the same treatment? They are used slot in military and big rigs

We should have them in stock tomorrow.

The mil specs are made to hold up to the weight of the larger trucks.

Very cool guys! The scale market wouldn't be the same without your tires and it's nice to see you improve even when there is little competition to make you do it.

Thanks!

We have also been working hard to improve our plastic compounds. You should see the results of this in the coming weeks/months....

Thanks for listening RC4WD. Y'all have a corner on the scale tire market.

2.2 boggers please. They are super stiff, even for 10lb rigs. I have sanded the internal rib down and it helped a bit but the sidewalls are still too stiff. Just my opinion.

Awesome, i don't know how many of the plastic drive shafts i've twisted, probably 4 by now. I was hesitant to purchase them again, but maybe i'll wait.

The tire compound excites me, already you guys have come along ways with your tire compounds, glad the progress never ends.

Keep it up rc4wd!

Fondled some of these in Vegas, very nice feel. By far the best they've made yet. Can't wait to get some.
