Default Hitman 2.2 Beadlock Wheels for Axial Wraith

This new wheel was designed with the Axial Wraith in mind. It will work on other options, but fits the Wraith well. This new wheel is a 4 piece design with our scale bolts. The hex hub was designed to work with the stock hex hub on the Axial Wraith.

I know you guys are already getting heat about making this wheel and I kind of see the other side but........

There is no copyright or patent violations. This is not the first time a product has been made by different companies based off the same design. Case in point, there are at least 3 versions of the Walker Evans wheels out there. 2-3 of the Poison Spyder Spyderlocks, and a couple different versions of the Trail Ready bead locks. Unless you are making a licensed product there really isn't any copying and the wheels are different from each other.

I personally was extremely dissatisfied with waiting almost 2 months and then receiving product that was not up to par. I've never had an issue with RC4WD wheels that couldn't be quickly fixed and the scale factor is always higher than any other wheel manufacturer out there. I'm a machinist and notice things that the general population may never notice. Not saying RC4WD wheels are flawless, but have had major problems with a competitors wheels.

People have their loyalty and will buy from whom they want and there is no need for anything to get ugly. This happens with almost every part out there on these rigs. It's supply and demand. Competition.

I do completely understand the brotherhood of the vendors and what it means though. If a conversation was not had between Dan and you guys, there probably should have been. It is after all their bread and butter when it comes to wheel sales, hence the demand and probably why you guys pursued this project.

If you guys want new wheels to make and need a direction to head without stepping on any toes, give me a shout. I have a couple of wheels that are huge in the 1:1 world that nobody is making. ( and tires, hint hint. pretty please!)

It's nice to hear some positive comments about our wheels so thanks for that.

There are significant differences between our wheel and the other one.

I would be glad to hear about any ideas you have, I will PM you my email address.

Thanks

Do your pin drive hubs bolt up to this wheel?

I like them, wish they were 1.9 though. I don't really see what the huge problem with making these is, the "other" company making ones like these don't hold a patent or license to be the sole makers.

No the bolt pattern radius is slightly different as I wanted to maintain M3 cap head compatibility on these wheels.

The "other" company just so happens to make them in 1.9" size.

True there is already a version of the wheel being made. I personally like this one better because of scale realism, and similarity to the real deal!

Just saw these on the Rc4wd website this morning and I like them so much, I will be buying them soon!

How about a version of the Raceline Renegade 5 next!

Not in the works.

Making this wheel in 1.9 and keeping the proportions of the design right will be tough. It may not end up looking right.

Another home run for RC4WD!!! i personally have loved this wheel design...and RC4WD hit the nail on the nose! Perfect re-creation, size and proportion are all spot on.
