I am thinking this should keep heat down on a pro4 to get the slow speeds for crawling. Bank account needs to magically populate to I can order one

Today i did some mild testing on this transmission, here's a video:

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/aqPmu1K1px8" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

The Wraith has a Tekin 13.5 brushless, 87T spur (48P), 23T pinion and is on 3S, so far the only thing i didn't like is that the shifting servo heats up when going into 1st gear, not so in 2nd gear. I need to do more testing on this, already ordered a servo saver and i'll see if that works

I was looking to finally install and just discovered, i forgot to order a MIP short center drive.

This of course SUCKS!!!

Would like to see some asphalt straightaways for top speed and slow crawls. I might have one myself next week.

Don't forget to take into account: the length of your center drive shafts will be shortened.

What is the center drive shaft? The output in the tranny or the tranny side half of the driveshafts?

Not the output or outdrive from the tranny.

You will need to shorten one of the shafts that connects from tranny to axles.

only one side will need to be shortened.

If left in stock form the two drive shafts will bottom out when the suspension is slightly compressesd.

I have MIP c-drive in stock form on my truck. When i tried to install the 2-speed i realized i did not order the shorter c-drive.

RPP has the shorter c-drive for dig units in stock.

MIP C-Drive Dig Spline Kit (1) (Rear)

This will prevent the shafts from bottoming out and keep the suspension working as it was intended.

I hope i'm making sense.

When is happy hour?

Oh I see. Calling it a center driveshaft didn't make sense to me. Thanks.

Has there been any results of the 4s pro4 testing. You really dont realize how cool more horsepower is until you have it. Is this thing going to hold up????

For those of you having servo issues with no EPA adjustment on your remote, all you need is a light pressure type servo saver. This is what Traxxas uses to shift the transmission on the t maxx or working the locking axle servos!
Either one of these can be had for really cheap and with free shipping off eBay. Just enter these part numbers and live worry free with your shifting servo.
Ps your Lhs prob has these or on the lower one you could also use nitro fuel tubing instead of springs! Let me know what you think!

Traxxas 3988x

If the radio has end point adjustments would a servo saver be a waste?

Airmail option is USPS. You should have airmail as an option.
