R1 is finally done, we still need to drill the side mounting holes and put them together. We should start shipping mid next week.

Punisher Shaft for TXT-1 and R1 transmission will be available again next week as well.

We are working on a crawler axle too, should be available for preview end of September. And shipping in October.

According to the website, $199. From the photos, looks like the gears themselves ride on bearings and bronze bushings support the shafts; or those are just spacers...

i saw it on the website that thing is "like whoa!"

i know it says metal gears but are they aluminium? sorry if this is dumb but that looks like a clear motor mount for a clod in the first pic, can you run two motors or what am i missing?

All gears are aluminum, the only plastic parts in the tranny is the clear dusk cover. It does looks similar like the clod dust cover, but it is not the same. Those gears are all anodized in blue, so it will look cool. The housing is also anodized in shiny silver.

In terms of axle, we probably can have a preview by end of the month.

Default gear box

What is the width of the box? Will it fit between the side plates of a stock TLT?
What turn motor Do you recommend for crawling?
thanks

I will have more dimension specs by this weekend. We will start shipping on Tuesday or Wednesday.

In terms of motor, I think you can go anywhere from 9 Turn to 21 Turn. Depends on your battery, ESC and pinion gear setup.

We are shipping the tranny now. We are working on a matching all metal chassis and axle already, we expect to ship next month. As parts and complete truck.

We are also working on a new clod, tlt-1 axle housing.

I will get the final CAD file mid next week, once everything looks good, those products will go into production too.

I don't see a way to mount it? Are there tabs or holes or something I am missing?

There are 2 holes on each side (as you can see in the picture below):

http://www.tracgear.com/product/rc4w...ssion/g3/1.jpg

and there are 4 more holes if you flip over.

Question

Will you have replacment internals? Seems stout but you know some people don't know when to pick it up and start a new line.I really like this tranny looks like it will be a hot ticket item.
