Here's a little tool to help with calculating top speed. Made by a friend of mine, and speed addict, Nick Maslowski.

http://scriptasylum.com/rc_speed/_speed_amp.html

It helps figure out if your battery can put the amps out to get you to speed.

RedBetta 10-13-2009 08:00 PM

Is there a Wheel base limit for the Crawler class? Need to know before I start design my chassis.

Try to kinda make the rig fit the body you are using.

This is a top speed contest, not a drag race. However long you can maintain control of it to get your highest speed.

I am shooting for 90mph in the rockcrawler class...

If anyone needs a speed calculater to help figure overall speed, gearing, tire size, roll out.... just about all the basics this is a hard one to beat "thumbsup"

Might come in handy, it does for me!
