Our main thing we didn't want was people to use high downforce/touring car bodies for the crawler class. Truck, Jeep, FJ, ect you'll be good to go. |
So tubers are out of the picture right? |
not an official here, but i cant see how a tuber would act as a high downforce body. id think a tuber would be ok. |
i think a tuber within 2.2 USRCCA specs would be fine. |

You are spot on that you will have to be very careful with the throttle when you do speed runs. A wheelie bar just makes it more forgiving. |
Do you want us to put any and all video on our build threads or in the video section? |
in the build thread |
Where is everyones updates?! C'mon people, I wanna see what I'm missing! |
just a reminder, deadline is next sunday |
Just saw this last night on accident. Got my mind spinning last night and started searching for parts. Is it too late to start a thread and enter? I have a vision for a crawler class entry. |
Why are most of the builds 2wd? I don't see anything in the rules about not running a 4wd sedan, or did I miss it? |
nope, however drivetrain efficiency plays a big part in top speed. a 2wd car, such as the drag race designed chassis use the most efficient drivetrain you can have in an rc. 4wd is great for handling and racing, however if you can get straight line traction with 2wd, why have 4wd??? |
