Default New 2.2 Comp Tuber **Coming Soon** RCP Crawlers Prototype PICS

Designed by Mrpink

Available through RCP Crawlers, Soon

A big thanks to Mrpink for making this project possible.

Also check out our soon to be released adjustable width and adjustable offset beadlock wheels. The Sinners series beadlock wheels are designed by Createacrawler and is sure to be a big hit.

Edit: I had to restart this thread. Sorry for those that already posted the kind words.

Indeed, any price?

I'd love a tuber for an 'affordable price'.

Looks good

Final price has not been set, but since it will be mass produced, we will pass on the savings to you.

I can tell you price for the complete kit will be less than $200 and it will come powder coated in black, tig welded to perfection. The complete kit will most likely come with links, rod ends and custom RCP top link/servo brackets.

It should act like a bug body on flops with the cage set up. I like it. Does it have to be done as a Drop set up?

Im not a fan of droop at all, throw some short sprung shocks, like the tamiya car hop up shocks.

Skid Plate?? i dont see a SKID PLATE? I see a "Lower Chassis Pan".

and yes, fully legal. The tube work is EXACTLY 3.75" tall (not including the... well whatever that thing is on the bottom.) Other dimensions are 4.5" wide and just over 10 3/4" long.

And the going price for my set of wheels is actually two kidneys. better bring a friend to the O.R.

the rear plate you see in the second picture can either be used as a esc/rx mount, or removed and a servo placed there for dig/R2d action.

Sorry for the Steelers colors, didn't realize what i was doing until it was too late.

Very nice guys. Will this be sold along side the 2.2 Hustler, or instead of the 2.2 Hustler? I even like the paint job!

The 2.2 Hustler will still be available. Our plan is make available several different tube chassis designs. This so far is number 3.

My mistake on the nomenclature, MrPink. I like the looks of it, still like my traditional crawler, but it looks great.

Dont worry I'm sure you can ship a couple of the black and gold ones my way, I will see to it that they are distributed amongst the other members of the WPAC, who will appreciate your color blunder...

BTW will it work with WK axles and sprung suspension?

This prototype was designed around the R2d (or regular R2) More testing will be needed to see what other trannys can fit. I would like to see it as universal as possible; but design limitations are a factor.

Some people have asked me about the dig setup. I have some pictures of this chassis with the R2d mocked up. Keep in mind this is only a prototype; some things are a little "rough"
