Why? Is that what all the cool kids are doing? Cause I ordered one also and want to make sure I am doing the right thing.

We're still filling orders for the first batch. They're already powder coated so unfortunately I can't help you there. I think a quick bead-blasting will be your best bet.

Default Link?

What length links to use w/T-Rex 60 axles and what aluminum ball ends to use? i was thinking to use HR links in black to match chassis and maybe rc4wd aluminum ball ends.

thats what i used for my 1.9 build. 43mm top,48mm bottom. but with the long rc4wd ball ends. if you use shorter ball ends, you will need 48mm and 53mm links from HR.

i wish they had this in a kit so bad. i have a timberwolf on order but like the black chassis so much. if anyone w/ a 2.2 scale has one and wants to list the parts needed to make on id greatly appreciate it

i know basics but rod ends and lengths of that, driveshaft lengths is what i have no clue on.

heres a basic part list i got if someone wants to help me out with this please feel free. i just need a rolling chassis have all electronics already.

chassis
rc4wd r2 2 speed tranny
rc4wd wheel/tires
trex 60 plastic axles (im doing 4ws would i have to ask for 2 front axles to do so?)
any 110mm shocks?

how will the tranny mount to the chassis? hoping to place order for this tomorrow

what do you mean top and bottom? arent their only 2 links for front and 2 links for rear ? and will that size work for 2.2 as well? what size drive shafts and brand did you use? thanks

RCP,

I have the Wreckluse ordered. I noticed the shock mounting holes on this chassis you posted are not straight. Are all the others straight? (I'm hoping this is a BLEM)

Thanks

The chassis in all of the pictures is the prototype chassis that I personally built. It was built with 3/16" brakeline and silver soldered together. You can look up my build thread on it if you would like. Remember though, I built it entirely by hand with nothing but hand tools, so it's not exactly perfect. The production chassis is professionally built using jigs and made out of solid steel rod and tig welded together. Therefore the production chassis will be perfect (perfectly straight holes and 100% symetric bends) and be alot stronger. So don't worry, you won't be disappointed in your purchase.
