for the motor, I have a holmes hobby 35T with a BR-XL on 3S...very good...

I actually craked the hood too, the HPI jeep is a direct fit? I know it's kinda sucky to scrap a complete body for the hood...but I think it might be cheaper to get the body from my hobbyshop than ordering a new hood from RCP ;) no offence Sozo, but with the shipping to Canada...

I'm running a HH 35T/Sidewinder/3S combo, great low end control and good wheel speed when I drop the hammer

I also have an issue with the servo arm hitting the 4 link truss. Have you experienced this?

is it mounted to the chassis or the axle?

Ok I really need some help

Here are my link measurement. (actual link not eye to eye)

Upper 115mm Front
Upper 109mm Rear

Lower 109mm Front
Lower 93mm Rear

Here is a pic.

Look at the servo arm right on the 4 link mount

Here is a shot of where the servo suppose to go and the 4 link mount is right at it

I have also tried a GCM mount which is not as high but its still hitting.

What are my options, it seems I cant get axle mounted as the tabs on my axles is cutoff. I am thinking getting new links but not so sure.....

I see some custom fabrication.... you may want to flip the servo so the arm points forward
and cut away some more from the front

Shes a runner!! I shaved off some of the 4 link truss and mounted the servo arm forward. It only hits on the left side. I am thinking of adding some spacers to the servo when I mount it to give me more clearance.

Yes will post pic soon. I actually worked on it again and replaced the 4 link truss with the stock Axial 4 link mount (it sits lower on the axle). I also used some servo post to mount the servo higher and cut out some of the metal so the servo arm moves freely. It works better this way as I get more clearance.
