Get a Wreckluse and run wraith axles. That's what I have. Works great! |
Re: Wreckluse Feedback, Support & FAQ I'm looking for a Wreckluse chassis...but i'm wondering if my hardcase Sky lipos 3S 5000mah would fit in the chassis...that's a big factor if I need to buy more batteries... Thanks! |

Re: Wreckluse Feedback, Support & FAQ looks great....I'm taking my Wreckluse for a walk tomorrow ...up near Big Bear in SoCal I'll take some video ...it's a new spot |
Re: Wreckluse Feedback, Support & FAQ Also if you could post up the lenght of the links in inches eye to eye so I can make my own. Id like to get my servo from hitting the chassis. |
Re: Wreckluse Feedback, Support & FAQ Quote:
for the bottom links and rear upper......3.78" or 96 mm and I used Traxxas*Turnbuckle*Camber... for the front upper links.......3.44" or 87.4 mm I used these plates up front *RCP*Ax10/TLT*Aluminum... don't remember why but I doubled them up and used RCP*Crawlers*Lower... attached to the bottom...so the upper front link mount is at it's lowest point I used STRC*Machined*Alum.... in the rear and mounted the links to the bottom of the plate...bolts straignt up how the link attachs to the axle can vary dimensions but these JATO links are adjustable so I can the move the servo just enought to miss the cross bar on the chassis |
Re: Wreckluse Feedback, Support & FAQ After a few falls, my hod is slowly starting to fall appart... anyone tried something else other than the HPI jeep hood? Timberwolf? i'm trying to figure ou something without the winch in the front, so I can install my own working winch... |

Re: Wreckluse Feedback, Support & FAQ Some mods I did to a used project I picked up. It was someones first crawler and sheesh the paint job was a mess. Crawler was stripped and in the process of being rebuilt. Chassis mods were tig welded (not brazed) w/ 3/16 round rod. Re: Wreckluse Feedback, Support & FAQ Just purchased the wreckluse on RCP Cralwers. I wanted to go with a 1.9 Setup and I followed the recommended link sizes. I purchased 35mm Axial Post for front uppers and 50mm all around. When trying to mock up the front wraith axle, it appears that the 35mm front uppers are not even close to being able to mount. I was thinking it may be the axle and took my scx10 axle off from the honcho and tried to mock that axle up and the front uppers are still short...What am I doing wrong here? I can make my own links, but would like to know if I did something wrong before I go and make a set. I appreciate all the help I can get. thanks and Merry X-mas Quote:

Re: Wreckluse Feedback, Support & FAQ I know what you mean, i've had the same problem....it depends of which 4 links bracket you are using...if you use the one from a SCX10, the upper links will need to be longer than the lower. If you use the AX10 bracket, the upper links will have to be shorter than the lower ones. |
Re: Wreckluse Feedback, Support & FAQ Thanks for the input. Ive been looking at all the wreckluse threads here and figured it may be a truss issue with the links not cooperating. I wonder what truss's the builders that run the recommended links use? Do you have a build thread of your wreckluse? Also, if anyone one can shine some light, it would greatly be appreciated. Quote:

Re: Wreckluse Feedback, Support & FAQ here's my build I used the traxxas adjustable links and RCP upper link mounts front and rear http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/1-9-s...wreckluse.html |

Re: Wreckluse Feedback, Support & FAQ Does anyone have any recommended links for the following: 1)Axial SCX10 Axles with the stock 4-Link Truss included with the rig (for 1.9 & 2.2) 2)Axial AR60 OCP Axles (for 1.9 & 2.2) |
Re: Wreckluse Feedback, Support & FAQ Hello, has anyone tried shock absorbers Honcho on Wreckluse tuber frame? I think go well as the frame tubes is heavier and the movement on the rocks should be still most real If you have pictures of wreckluse with these shocks? That shocks damper you use? And with what measure from eye to eye? |
