It appears from looking at most threads, most builds are droop or a 4" sprung setup, but all looked to be limited a bit.

Anyone with a sprung setup that could give me an eye to eye measurement.

I'd like to be just under 3" with Comp Claws, wondering what length shock I'll end up needed.

Take a look at the first post in this thread, they have a DNA dig installed
I don't have mine anymore, but I was running it sprung, with 4" shocks in the front and 2 3/4" shocks in the rear, at about 2.25" belly, with the chassis pushed forward so the front bar was just behind the servo.

I run mine on the out side of the chassis, I've found (personally) that it makes the rig more stable and gives more room for electronics up front. I had to use the R2j, front 4-link mount and mix up the length of the links and ends, but it works VERY well.

Is this the standoff you are referring too?

How well does the Vanquish DIG fit on this chassis?

Any issues like with the DNA?

The middle rear crossbar has to go, as well as bending the middle diagonal.

You can see the bent tube in the background here.

wow I just got mine. What turned me on to this chassis was how small and compact it looked. Now that I have it I cant believe how small and fragile looking this thing really is!!

This is my first aftermarket chassis, and I will be putting a VP Hurtz DIG in it when it gets here... Jeeze I really hope I dont break this little creature!!

overall this is a sick looking chassis, will post more about mine after built and tested.

Sorry we do not carry the link mount by itself. You could probably fab one up pretty easily though.

3 weekends, completely destroyed, not happy. 1st time out caved the front right shock tower ( yes I had the spacer) Yesterday ripped off a Link mount at a comp. 3 weeks old and trash. Everything else from RCP crawlers has been excellent and shipped super fast. This chassis needs some work.

Wow. We have a few guys here using them for rock racers running fast and crashing HARD without problems. Perhaps the welds on yours were not as good as they could be. Please send the chassis back with a note, we will take care of you.
