I wouldn't wait on the straight version since it is not even in prototype stage yet. ;)

The hexes for the CVD's will not work on a stock axle. You could cut down some G-mades to 1/2" to make them match. Honestly, most people who have run only the CVD's in the front, started breaking rear stock axles right away. ;)

I figure once the straight axle comes out, I will order two of those as well. Then I will end up with two sets of beefy axles

the rc4wd straights will go in my straight cases
besides, depending how long awhile is i may even wait to build my comp 2.2 rig til they come out. i'm not in any big hurry and i got enough other stuff to keep me busy. i want to build it once and build it right!

I may have missed this but how much wider is the CVD from say the RC4WD straights? Is it any more than the CVD for the Clod vs the stock axles?

I am running CVD's on the front and stock on the back on my TXT right now it it is only about a half inch overall track difference.

Reminds me of a bulldog...big front, small azz.

The RC4WD straights are the same as the stock. Not sure if the TLT CVD's are the same as stock or not. Anybody??

it says it in the first post, 1 set of hexes keeps it stock and 1 set is half inch wideners
