Email sent to you about my Order that was placed on 4/6. Looks like I may have been one of the culprits that for some reason paypal didn't post my address on the payment.

Thanks
Bart

they can be stock width or 1/4 wider than stock depending on which of the 2 hexes you use

So what is the best way to make the back the same as the front if you use the 1/4 widener that come with the CVD kit? Someone mentioned cutting down the G-made widners for the rear.

Alright...who is going to make us some 1/4 wideners for the rear to match the front when we use these CVD's on the front only?

I run the MSD TLT ultimate wideners on the back of mine, same trackwidth as the wide hexs for the cvd's.

About 75% of the testers that got only cvd's for the front started snapping stock rears immediately.

But if that's not in your budget, then I'd recommend Unimogers wideners.

I agree. they probably will snap them. I am running the RC4WD straights on three of my trucks that will have the CVD's in the front. The other truck will be the 2.2 Hustler and it will have CVD's front and rear!!

Will you be offering additional widners like the emaxxjeremy stated? If not, I'll order some of MSD widners. Unimoger... do you sell pairs? I need three pair.

Tom

Wait.. Am I missing something here??
OK so you fit your new CVD's to the front axle only and you say that 75% of your testers started snapping rears?

How by using MSD's widners will this stop you snapping the rears????
I presume your talking axle shafts ?? and not widners

I ordered 2 sets one for my comp rig that I was hoping to run the 1/2 ''
hexes and want to trial a standard /kit rear setup

and the other set on my yet to be built scale rig with the 1/4 '' "same as standard width " hexes
up front

If Im missing something let me know :-?:-?

You're missing something. The wideners don't stop breakage, they just make the track width the same front and rear, when running the wider CVD hexes in the front.

I'm wondering how my rc4wd straight axles will stand up to the load. I guess we'll see once we get those preorders to us.
