Events

Wow! The last few months have been just crazy. It was refreshing to get away and attend the Axial West Coast Championship up at Donner Ski Ranch. Jake and the Reno crew put on a great event and we look forward to attending future events in 2008. It was nice meeting many members from rcc and putting a face to the screen names. I was blown away by the amount of people that came up to see the 1&1 rigs run from which a good portion stopped by to see the little guys crawl as well.

It was good to see a bunch of So Cal guys make the trip as well as a few RCP drivers. Congrats to the top 15 of each class for making it to Sunday. Great job RCP Drivers Dustin, Dean, Brian and Aarron for making the top 15. Dustin placed 2nd in 2.2, Dean placed 5th in 2.2, Brian placed 7th in 2.2, Aarron placed 13th in 2.2. Aaron placed 9th in Super. I did not get to run either class over the weekend as I was much too busy down at the tents. Next year I will definately find the time to compete with the guys.

We are getting ready for one of the biggest Off Road Expo Shows in the US. It will be held at the Pomona Fair Grounds and we will be exhibiting with the RCP Crawler modular mountain. Axial Racing will join us as we demonstrate many crawlers to the thousands of people attending the weekend event.

The upcoming California Nascar race in Fontana is in the works. There is a good chance we will be attending and running the crawlers with HPI Racing. We will agian set up the modular RCP mountain to demonstrate RC crawling to the masses that visit the vendor and driver tents throughout the infield. We previously ran a demonstration at the Daytona 500 two years ago, which turned out to be a big hit with the Nascar fans.

Projects

Website..... We hit a small obstacle with the new website. We had to hire a new company to design and build the site and this put us back a few weeks. We are now close to going live and should have everything ready shortly.

Manufacturing

We have been very busy in the design, manufacturing and prototype testing of new crawling parts. Lately we have been sending new part designs to our factory each week. We should have a bunch of new stuff available in the month of July and August.
Below are parts we have already designed and are either waiting for the prototype part to come back from the factory to test or are already manufacturing.
