Man... what has gotten into people this week?

Yes, the axles are still on the drawing board. I have been told by the designer that the drawlings would be ready shortly.

What my friends have been telling me about rudeness on this site is true. Figures.
Will this reflect on my opinion of RCP? yes! But whatever, nice design i look foreward to seeing it on the rocks.
RockPileDriver was referring to the fiasco in Chit Chat not you.
It's not RCC's fault that new members have thin skin and whine alot.

RPD I can wait to see these bad boys.
Is there any plans for super versions of these?

While you are thinking out of the box on the new design, I have a question. Is this axle for comp? If so why is the first design showing the steering in front? We all would like to see the linkage behind the axle out of the way. If you are going to all this effort why not go all the way.

You asked for comments...........

this may be a stupid idea but.... so many people are moving away fom brushed motors and 400 sized brushless is widely available cheap... why not set up the axles to use a 400 brushless without having to have an adapter plate. The only problem i can forsee is the speed controller but, there are planes with duel 400 brushless therefore there must be controlers that can handle it.

No reason to set them up for speed 400 brushless, since all RC car motors use 25mm spacing. Not everybody likes brushless either. I made adapter plates for those who do like the little outrunners, and they will work with these axles the same as any other RC car. Departing from a standard motor design would be a horrible idea IMO.
