I too am curious as to the progress of this chassis. This tuber has officially made me want to buy one, prior to this I hadn't seen one that I really thought I needed.

It is a sweet tube configuration. Looks like this item fell through though. People on here are usually quick to reply. Since there has been none for a while i'm assuming the worst.

I hope not. My WK axles have been waiting months for it. They're just sitting on the bench; mocking me. Passed up alot of designs just waiting. Say it ain't so guys:?

Well there hasn't been a response from anyone since before Xmas LAST YEAR.
Looks like I gotta start looking elsewhere. Bummer , I was really loving that design. 3 months is just too long to wait with no response. Like an m-80 lit that just sits there... everyone comes up and looks at it,waits for the big bang, but no one wants to touch it,so it just sits there. Dud???

It's not that we never intend to produce this chassis, there's just several products ahead of it's place in line as of now. We personally felt the performance of the chassis we have did not reflect the performance level we had wanted. Some changes will be needed and we will see how it goes from there.

I think that that is a great way to go about it. I would much rather have the company take longer and make the product perfect before they release it rather than just release a half assed product that doesn't work/perform as good as it could.

agreed... tubers are just like TVPs in a way, there is always a little tweak that can be done here or there- lay this shock down a bit, narrow this, move this link... it all takes time. Unlike TVPs though, it is not always as easy as drilling a new hole, sometimes a total rebuild is needed. I have built many chassis' and have learned from each one of them, some of what to do, and some of what not to do. Building a bad chassis can teach as much, if not more than building a good one. Many of chassis' have been crushed on my shop floor for this very reason.

if the overall design is solid, the tweaks can be made.

Yeah, that is a good way to go about it.Good to know it's still on, and I know the quality will be if the utmost. I guess the way it was talked about early on, I just got the notion it was ready to go and just waiting for production really soon. Good things are worth waiting for though. Thanks for the updates guys!

If only crushing my chassis was that easy. Hell JIA couldn't crush it with 2 ton truck. Consider yourself Lucky Pink.

Sorry I had to throw that in.

On a serious note: all my tube chassis have gone thru changes. In fact both Ralph & Mugsy had their front ends cut off and re-designed before completion because on paper they seem fine until you start assembly. Then and only then you realize it's not right. So be patient and remember a legend takes a long time to become one.
